Reference: Product codes
ProDigi automatically allocates new product codes and looks after these for you. This includes a sensible grouping of product codes for product families.
New product codes follow a sensible standard, and this is applied consistently to only products across brands. The coding is based on the concept of an "FE code" which lies behind every new ProDigi product.
NB: Old legacy products which have been imported retain their previous codes.
Examples below are for a hypothetical new product "FE00060456".
