3.1.1. Product
On the screen you can review the name of the product or product variant. For product families, the chosen attribute name is appended to the product automatically - for example in the screen below, ProDigi has appended " - Blue" to this product variant. It is recommended you do not change these names, but they can be overridden if necessary.
The screen will also show the short name for the product which will be used in SAP. This is limited to 40 characters.

If your product is part of the product family, and you do not wish this variant to be available, you can deselect the Is Active check box. For example, if you sell three sizes and five colours, but your product is not available in extra large orange, deselect the Is Active check box to ensure that the extra large orange version is unavailable.
